As we reflect on the bonds of sisterhood that tie us together, we’d love to see you reignite your connection with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ahead of our Epsilon Centennial celebration! In order to fully participate in the Epsilon-only events, you must have an active membership. The following are the simple steps to reactivate your membership:
Complete the Graduate Chapter and General Member Reactivation Forms: |
Provide your current name, address, chapter of initiation and date, last active chapter, all previous names used, and financial card number (if available). Once reactivated, you’ll receive a financial card, Ivy Leaf magazine, and announcements about upcoming events.
Reactivation with a Graduate Chapter: |
Complete the Graduate Chapter Reactivation Form. Submit the form to the chapter you wish to affiliate with, along with a money order/certified check for fees, chapter dues, and assessments.

Reactivation as a General Member: |
Complete the General Member Reactivation Form. Submit the form to the Corporate Office along with a money order/certified check for fees, per capita, and assessments.

Please note: These forms are for members inactive for one or more years. Undergraduates at a college/university with an AKA chapter cannot reactivate as general members.
Cost to Reinstate/Reactivate: |
Pay reinstatement fees and Corporate Office Improvement Project (COIP) assessment.
Corporate assessments include EAF dues and the current Constitution and Bylaws and Manual of Standard Procedure. Members initiated before July 31, 1943, are exempt from the COIP assessment.
Transfer Verification: |
Complete the Transfer Verification Form if reactivating with a new chapter. Use the Online Transfer Verification Process (OTVP) if inactive since before last year and have no debt to a former chapter.

Confirmation of COIP Payment: |
Initiated after July 1992: COIP assessment included in initiation fees. Initiated before July 1992 or a Golden Soror as of July 31, 1993: Contact Corporate Office to verify payment.
